We are committed to developing smart and innovative solutions that provide data-driven and personalised treatment from the prevention phase to rehabilitation and post-surgery.
Our expertise in system development and sensor technology ensures that our solutions are not only accurate but also seamlessly integrated into the orthopaedic examination process, improving efficiency for healthcare providers and enhancing the ability to prevent and treat musculoskeletal diseases of the foot more effectively.
A novel forefoot Arthrometer, intended to quantitatively assess and monitor various biomecanical parameters of the foot, such as:
- The First Ray Instability (FRI) between the first and lesser rays
- The Load Transfer (LT) on the metatarsal heads
- The Ankle Dorsiflexion (AD)
This solution is biomechanically representative of a progressive weight-bearing phase of the gait and allows FRI quantification through a large range of force measurements.
This solution is fully automated, providing a reliable method for measuring important biomechanical parameters and reducing the influence of the user and patient during measurement.
This solution provides quantitative, precise and data-driven information to orthopaedic surgeons to guide them to the most appropriate decision for each patient.
This solution aims to establish as the new gold standard in orthopaedic healthcare, replacing the current manual examination, which is neither reliable nor repeatable, as it is highly dependent on the caregiver’s experience.
Since the start of the project, we've received a great deal of support from various organisations.
We are grateful for their support and trust.
